‘Big Clover, Little Clover’ Workshop

Kingfisher County 4-H Ambassadors on Feb. 8 hosted Cloverbud members from across the county. The 4-H Ambassadors have been hosting these series of workshops for the last four years. The workshops give the youngest of 4-H members a chance to interact and bond with the older members. “The goal is to show the Cloverbuds that you can stay in 4-H through high school,” said Heather Jones, Kingfisher County Extension educator for 4-H youth development. Members of the Kingfisher County 4-H Ambassadors (age 13 and older) showed off their leadership skills leading youth in the pledges, crafts and games. Cloverbuds made crafts that were then taken to one of the local nursing homes in the county. If you are interested in signing up your child for Cloverbuds and 4-H, contact the Kingfisher County Extension office at 405.375.3822. [Photos provided]
