A popular Twitter post by an Oklahoma City meteoroligist circulating last week illustrated his prediction for the warmest Christmas on record with a state temperature map entitled “White Christmas Definitely No.” Record temperatures may be a news story, but no white Christmas is not much of a surprise. Kingfisher High School sophomore Eli Johnson, 16, right, was 4 years old the one and only time he woke up to Christmas morning snow (left, a photo taken by his dad Jeff and published in the Times & Free Press in 2009). In fact, the average Christmas Day high temperature for Kingfisher for the past 10 years is 52.1.
