STAR GAZING – Cashion resident Mary Hasley, at left in left photo and center right, and son Mark Beutler, at right in right photo, were recent guests of Oklahoma City Philharmonic at a concert honoring Oklahoma’s musical pioneers Jody Miller, left photo, and Wanda Jackson, right photo. Jackson is known as the “Queen of Rockabilly” and is an inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Miller received a Grammy for her 1965 hit “Queen of the House.” Beutler, who met both artists while working as an on-air radio personality, collaborated with the Philharmonic to honor the two entertainers.
