DRIVER’S ED 2021

Two dozen students have been taking part this summer in driver’s education classes and instruction. Students completed 30 classroom hours, which included a presentation from Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers Lane Gossen, Sammy Lee and Jeff Jech (pictured below). Once the classroom portion of the course was finished, each student got six hours of driving instruction from Doug Jech and/or T.J. Harris, which is required en route to acquiring a permit toward their restricted driver’s license. Vehicles for the driving instruction were provided by Jacksons of Kingfisher and Johnsons of Kingfisher. Bottom right, Jacksons’ Casey Jackson (center) is pictured with students Jennifer Garcia and Hennessy Cardenas. Top right is Johnsons’ Adam Perkey (left) with driving students Hannah Click and Ashley Casillas. [Photos provided]
