Gilmour Elementary School recently announced its Great Expectations Citizenship Award winners for December 2020. The recipients were announced during Jacket Roundup on Dec. 17. Those receiving the honor included, from left: front row, kindergarten students Hope Voth, Jesus Rivera, Brooke Rother, Pressley Page and Jaxon Butts; middle row, first graders Emily Mosely, Nadia Gomez, Taylor Cronkhite and Scarlett Mercado; and back row, second graders Kynsli Moyeda, Cameron Wallace and Harmony Townsend and first graders Brooklyn Redwine and Maitlyn Tollefson. The award is voted on by teachers. The character trait students worked on during December was “caring.” Teachers were encouraged to choose students who exemplified that trait throughout the month.
