Kingfisher County Health Department Ribbon Cutting

Several dozen people were on hand Monday as the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new location of the Kingfisher County Health Department. After a major remodeling project was completed on the property the department purchased at 421 W. Bowman, the move to the new facility was made in August 2022. Among those on hand for the ceremony were city, community and school leaders; members of the Kingfisher County Board of Health; current and former health department employees from the local and state level; and Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce board of directors members, among others. Holding the ribbon and sign on the front row were, from left: Isabella Valderrama, wellness coordinator; Vanessa England, chamber board member; Lorena Najera, community health worker; Kaci Murray, administrative technician; Layn Banister, patient care assistant; Heather Dunivan, administrative assistant; Saundra Main, district nurse manager; Jennifer Boyle, administrative program offier; Maggie Jackson, regional administrative director; Shauna Rupp, chamber of commerce executive director; Blair Coughlan, community engagement and health planning manager; Stacy Maroney, business manager; Ann Finley, Kingfisher County Board of Health co-chairman; and Dr. Drew Hendrix, Kingfisher County Board of Health member.
