Barnett a state champ

Kingfisher wrestler Aislin Barnett, center, won a state title last weekend in the girls middle school division at the 2023 Junior High All-State wrestling tournament at State Fair Arena. Barnett was one of three placers among KHS girls. She was joined by Delissa Evans, left, who took sixth in her bracket in the junior high division, and Mychaela Haynes, right, who was third in her bracket in the junior high division. Barnett is a sixth grader at Kingfisher Upper Elementary. Evans is an eighth grader and Haynes a freshman. See more on their results in the weekend edition.
