KPS recognizes Crow, Pflueger

Kingfisher Public Schools staff gathered for the annual end-of-school luncheon last week. During the luncheon, Superintendent Dr. Daniel Craig presented Suzanne Crow with her plaque after being named the KPS Teacher of the Year for 2021-22. The honor also came with a $1,000 check from Johnsons of Kingfisher, which has committed to rewarding future winners as well. Crow is a second grade teacher at Gilmour Elementary School. She was originally announced as the district’s top teacher in January. Craig also presented longtime custodian Danny Pflueger, pictured below, with a retirement gift. Pflueger worked for the district for 43 years before retiring prior to this school year. He most recently worked at Gilmour Elementary School. [Photos by KHS Photography]
