It All Comes Down To History.

As far as I know, no one has a crystal ball to tell us what the future holds. All we have is our history to predict our future. The behavior of mankind hasn’t changed that much over the course of recorded history. From my perspective, our world history has been driven in large part by the eternal desire of individuals and small groups to consolidate power. Seems to me our Constitution and Bill of Rights are the best documents of rules and laws ever created by man as an attempt to keep that consolidation and the resulting erosion of our personal freedoms at bay. Therefore it comes as no surprise that both are under assault.
