Kingfisher County Retired Educators gathered to make a donation to 2020 Santa’s Toyland. This is a countywide project for children ages 0-18. It was formerly sponsored by DHS, but was taken over last year by Kingfisher Community Collaborative (KCC). Accepting the donation was Brittney Hladik. Pictured are, from left, Cathy Howard, John Hopkins, Donna Jech, LaRita Sipe, Florene Tipton, Nancy Teders, President Terri Peck, Hladik, Debby Jorgenson and Dana Golbek. Applications for families to take part in Santa’s Toyland are available at Kingfisher City Hall and will be on the KCC Facebook page. Applications are due Dec. 7. Approved applicants will receive an appointment letter to pick up age-appropriate Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers on Dec. 17. Look for more information on Santa’s Toyland in coming editions.
