Kingfisher County property owners had paid 14.33% – $6,746,381 – of the $47,080,145 certified for collection for calendar year 2025 as of Thursday.

County Treasurer Robin Rother reminded that the deadline to pay without penalty is Dec. 31.

The penalty for delinquent tax is 1.5% per month.

The chart lists the original tax roll, adjustments, the adjusted tax grandson, Kadin, have been involved in the growing and transplanting of the trees to Kingfisher to be placed in the park.

Both Adam and Kadin were on hand Friday morning, along with Tree Board members, for the planting of the final trees that were a part of the original plan.

However, they aren’t the final trees to be transplanted.

Kadin and Adam are planning to return soon with some additional rare species of trees which they are donating, said John Gooden, Kingfisher Trails chairman and founding member.

Gooden was joined Friday at the park by fellow Trails board members Jenny Nusz and Brian Walter, who joined him in making the donations for the final trees of the original plan.

Gooden said further donations would be welcome to assist with the installation of a watering system and creation of a sign to welcome visitors and recognize donors.
