All eyes on Kingfisher for 4th of July celebration

Kingfisher will offer all you need and more to have a fun-filled day for the entire family this Fourth of July.

The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce is presenting the 2025 version of the Red, White & BOOMfest this Friday.

As always, it starts with a parade in the morning and is capped off with the boom of fireworks at dark.

In between, however, there’s more than enough to keep the entire family entertained...and fed.

Following is a list of events for the day and evening. After the parade downtown, all the events will be in Kingfisher Park:

•10 am. - Parade in downtown Kingfisher (from Robberts to Broadway and back)

• 11 a.m. - Turtle races at Homier Field

•Noon - Balloon toss and sack races at Homier Field

• 1 p.m. - Home run derby at Homier Field (checkin is 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.)

• 2 p.m. - Kingfisher Educational Foundation Duck Race at K-Town Kove

• 3 to 6 p.m. - FREE swimming at K-Town Kove

• 5 to 7 p.m. - FREE train rides and FREE face painting at the park

• 7 p.m - Watermelon will be served at home plate at Homier Field • 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. FREE concert featuring Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road Band at Homier Field

• 9:30(ish) p.m. - FREE fireworks show Food trucks and booths will also be set up at the park throughout the day. They include:

• Papa Bear’s Shaved Ice • Sunny Sips Lemonade

• Vick’s Cotton Candy

• Boomer Cakes Nothing Bundt Cakes

The Kingfisher Elks Lodge will also be present with its Drug Awareness Program trailer.
