• COFFEE WITH A VET: American Legion Post 5 is inviting all veterans to its “Coffee With a Vet” each month. Coffee and snacks will be served at the Post headquarters at 117 W. Miles from 6 to 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month. For more information, see the ad in this edition.

• EARLY PRINTING: While the KT&FP will print as scheduled on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the weekend editions following those dates will print two days early each week. Advertising and legal publication deadlines will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, for our Dec. 28 edition. The deadline for the Jan. 4 edition will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30.
