• Grief Share resumed at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, and will meet weekly through November. This free service is held at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher and is designed to offer help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. For more information, call 405-3754283.

• 4-H STEAK SANDWICHES: Kingfisher County 4-H is hosting its annual fundraiser during this year’s county free fair. • GARDEN TRACTOR PULL: This event makes its return to the Kingfisher County Free Fair. It will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at the Roundup Club Rodeo Arena. For more information, see the ad in this edition.

• SUMMER SOUNDS CONCERT SERIES: Presented by The Chisholm, this is a free series of concerts throughout the summer at Horizon Hill in Kingfisher.
