2 hurt in county accident

By

Two juvenile passengers suffered injuries Sunday in a three-vehicle accident at the southeastern edge of Kingfisher County.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, three vehicles were eastbound on Waterloo Road and approaching the stop sign at the County Line Road intersection.

The report, filed by Trooper Sammy Lee, said the first two vehicles stopped for the stop sign, but the third, a Toyota Rav-4 driven by Olgoa Lydia Servin, 43, of Oklahoma City, did not.

“Following too closely” was listed as the cause of the accident.

A 17-year-old female and a 14-year-old female, both of Oklahoma City, suffered head injuries as a result.

The younger female was taken by ambulance and the older by private vehicle to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Both were admitted in stable condition, the report said.

Two other passengers in the Toyota as well as Servin were uninjured.

Those three, according to the report, were wearing seatbelts while the two injured females were not.

Drivers and passengers in the other two vehicles - a 2015 Ford F-150 driven by Luis Alberto Sierra, 27, of El Reno and a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Elizabeth Zuniga, 24, of Oklahoma City - were not injured as a result of the accident.

The report said both drivers and a combined four passengers were wearing seatbelts in those vehicles.
