31 attend Pool-Zachgo reunion

By

Thirty-one members of the Pool-Zachgo families gathered Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Crescent Community Center for their 38th annual reunion. It was a smaller, but mighty group due to deaths in the family and COVID-19.

Traveling the longest distance were Merle and Patti Brock of Broken Bow.

The oldest members attending were Alfred and Nancy Teders of Kingfisher.

The youngest was Ezekiel Lynch, 3-year-old son of Xena Lynch of Crescent. There were two deaths

There were two deaths in the family since the last reunion, Dorothy Zachgo of Guthrie and Thelma Hansens of Kingfisher.

The invocation was given by Brian Miller, which was followed by a covered dish luncheon.

The afternoon was spent visiting and taking pictures for the reunion album.

The first reunion was held in 1983 and 81 members attended.

Those attending this year from Kingfisher were Alfred and Nancy Teders; Brian, Sharon, Matthew and Samuel Miller; Linda Hill; Jason, Melissa, Jeremiah, Jodie and Lillie Hill; and Kristen Brock.

Also attending were Breanna Bay of Watonga; John Hill and Racheal Russell of El Reno; Justin Teders of Yukon; Eddie Brock, Leland Brock, Xena and Ezekiel Lynch and Laylonie Barnett of Crescent; Shad, Sheri and Melody Hartley of Oklahoma City; Merle and Patti Brock of Broken Arrow; Kensington, Kenton and Keenan McKee of Shawnee; and Bridget Silva of Tulsa.
