You can dine on a steak sandwich and support local 4-H at the same time at this year’s Kingfisher County Fair.

Kingfisher County 4-H will be hosting a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.

Ribeye steak sandwiches, chips, a cookie and drink will be served at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building.

Cost is $10.

“This supports 4-H programming and projects,” said Laine Martin, Kingfisher County OSU Extension educator. “We’re hoping to create additional support for our 4-H programs as well as a new excitement at the county fair.”

The group can only accept pre-orders and they are due at the Extension office by Aug. 19.

All orders also must be to-go only.

This year’s annual pie auction has been canceled.

The fair is scheduled Aug. 26-29.
