By

A Hennessey man is recovering from injuries suffered in an ATV accident late Saturday night.

Matthew Hau, 38, suffered head, leg and internal injuries after rolling a Polaris ATV about 14 miles west and a mile north of Hennessey, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The report said Hau failed to negotiate a curve on a private road near the County Road 2370 and 610 intersection and rolled the ATV one-quarter time before being pinned.

He was taken by personal transport to Okeene Municipal Hospital a later transferred by medical helicopter to OU Medical Center.

The report said Hau was listed in stable condition.

Emily Hau, 33, was a passenger on the ATV but refused treatment at the scene, the report said.
