Rep. Mike Sanders and his wife Nellie were among just over 100 guests at a Christmas party hosted by President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania at the White House Friday night. Sanders was one of only four state legislators from across the country present at the event, along with the entire Trump family and other guests. The U.S. Marine Corps orchestra and choir provided entertainment. Rep. and Mrs. Sanders also toured the West Wing on Friday with some of Nellie’s extended family members, visiting the Oval Offi ce, cabinet room, press room and rose garden. Prior to the Christmas party, they were invited to dine at the Navy Mess, an exclusive formal dining room in the West Wing reserved for senior White House offi cials and their guests. “We were very blessed and fortunate to have this experience.
