CHS CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES

By

The county jail isn’t the only new construction taking place south of Kingfisher. Those driving down U.S. Highway 81 may have noticed cranes on the west side of the highway as a much taller structure is going up. It’s a dry fertilizer storage shed being constructed by CHS Oklahoma as part of its agronomy center. According Jason Kroener, general manager of CHS Okarche, weather has also delayed that facility’s completion date, but it is expected to be finished by Nov. 1. “There are plans for additional construction on site,” Kroener also told The Times & Free Press. Some of that has already taken place as a liquid storage unit has already been completed. [KT&FP Staff Photo]
