CITY AND SCHOOL ISSUES
CITY AND SCHOOL issues dominated the first Kingfisher County Republican Women luncheon of 2020 last week. Kingfisher school board candidates Susannah Copeland, Servrina Prim, first and second from left, and incumbent Carly Franks, far right, introduced themselves. The three candidates will be on the Feb. 11 school primary election ballot, with the top 2 candidates advancing to the April general election if no candidate receives a majority of the votes (50% plus one vote). City Manager Dave Slezickey, fourth from left (next to KCRW President Kathi Edsall), discussed 2019 city accomplishments and upcoming priorities for 2020. [Photo Provided]
