City, school voting ends on Tuesday
Tuesday is the last day to cast ballots in municipal and school board races across the county.
Voters who did not participate in early voting at the county courthouse Thursday and Friday or mail-in absentee voting will cast ballots at their regular polling places from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The following positions will be decided by voters:
SCHOOL BOARD
Kingfisher: Mike Copeland, incumbent; Terry Payne.
Cashion: Chuck Kordis; Christopher Gibson.
Dover: Casey Gene Wilkerson; Pearl Kale.
School board candidates elected without opposition include: Okarche – Jarrod J. Mueggenborg; Lomega – Terry Marks; Hennessey – David Tillman; Chisholm Trail Technology Center – Debbie Biehler.
School board races in adjacent counties include:
Crescent: Christopher Channel; Mark Garrett.
Piedmont: Zachary Myatt; Layne Jones.
Cimarron: Gaylan Brakhage; Cassie Coker-Paden, both of Lahoma.
MUNICIPAL OFFICES
Kingfisher City Commissioner: Richard R. Reynolds, incumbent; Kaci Farrar; Geoff Covalt.
Okarche Town Board: (Ward 3, two-year unexpired term) Brooke Thornton; Jeff Brueggen; John P. Endres; Robert Ford.
Piedmont City Council: (Ward 2) Mitch Henley; Ron Cardwell.
Local offices filled without opposition include:
Hennessey – Trustees (elected to four-year terms) Harold Shaw and Rachel Don Rogers; town clerk – Katie Walters, incumbent; town treasurer – Shelley Burch, incumbent.
Okarche – Town board, Ward 2 – Jeff Sadler, incumbent; town treasurer, Brian Schieber, incumbent.
Dover – Town board, Abette Bryan and G.R. Kirkpatrick, both incumbents re-elected to four-year terms.
