Kingfisher City Commission has scheduled a special meeting for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to discuss items related to Newfield Community Park and the proposed sales tax election.

Public comment is requested at the meeting regarding the latest recreational trails grant awarded for the construction of the community park.

Commissioners also will select the best bid and award a contract for construction of a band shell at the park
