City votes to annex four tracts of land
Kingfisher City Commission unanimously approved ordinances annexing four tracts of land at the March meeting last week.
Properties annexed include:
• A tract of land bounded by South 13th Street, Victory Lane and U.S. 81 owned by Circle B Land LLC, which will be zoned I-1, consistent with its current light industrial use.
• Embassy West LLC, Aspen Ridge RV Park, located on South 13th Street South of Meeker Addition, which will be zoned R-3, consistent with its current use as multi-family residential.
•Embassy West LLC, Aspen Ridge Duplexes, a tract of land immediately north of the RV Park, which also will be zoned R-3 for multi-family residential.
•Kingfisher Municipal Airport, northwest of Kingfisher. Although owned by the city, this property was not included within the incorporated city limits.
Commissioners also unanimously approved emergency clauses on all four ordinances, allowing the annexations to take effect immediately.
