Cloverbuds show their appreciation to KPD
April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month for 4-Hers and as a part of that, 4-H members are challenged to pledge their hands to larger service. Kingfisher 4-H Cloverbuds rose to this challenge and wanted to show their appreciation for all the work the Kingfisher Police Department does. Cloverbuds gathered items and made goodie bags/survival kits for all officers serving for the local Kingfisher Police Department. Members presented these bags to Officers Justin Connor and Aaron Schlegel at their recent April meeting. The officers talked to the kids about what it takes to be a police officer and even showed the Cloverbuds their cars.
