County 4-H Ambassadors host 2020 achievement banquet
Kingfisher County 4-H Ambassadors held an achievement banquet earlier this month, recognizing the club’s accomplishments over the last year.
As a COVID-19 precaution, all local 4-H clubs held individual achievement banquets this year, rather than the normal countywide event.
Those recognized at the ambassador’s banquet included:
State Record Books
James Perdue (wildlife and fisheries) and Abby Cruz (sheep) turned in state record books and were recognized online at the virtual state 4-H Roundup in July. Cruz was a top-three finalist.
Scholarship Winners
Catherine Stangl Oklahoma Youth Expo scholarship, sponsored by OYE.
Elizabeth Perdue Dana Smith Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Mary Sue Sanders; Pickens Legacy Scholarship and Jackie Jones Memorial Endowment Scholarship, sponsored by the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation.
County Ambassador Pins
Sixth-Year - Elizabeth Perdue, Catherine Stangl and Grace Krittenbrink.
Fourth-Year - Savannah Mingus and James Perdue.
Third-Year - Abby Cruz, Blake Henrichs and Cassye Mayo.
Second-Year - Braxton Murray.
