Kingfisher County commissioners approved a change order on the contract for roof repairs at the Kingfisher County Courthouse Monday.

It authorizes the complete removal and replacement of the southwest awning, changing it to a coating repair while retaining the warranty.

Commissioners also renewed a youthful offender detention agreement with ROCMND Area Youth Services (Craig County), approved depository banks in which county funds may be deposited (Bancfirst in Kingfisher, F&M Bank in Kingfisher, Community National Bank in Okarche and Community State Bank (Cash-ion, Hennessey and Dover) and the State Treasurer of Oklahoma), a written investment policy for various municipalities and the county, a surety bond for County Treasurer Robin Rother who was sworn in for a new term on Monday, resolutions for the reimbursement of expended funds for the county election board from the state, negating the need for the commission to take the action for the refunds each time they are remitted; lowered the speed limit on County Road NS 2790 from S.H. 33 south to EW 810 from 45 to 35 miles per hour due to industrial growth in the area west of Kingfisher in District 3, and renewed lease-purchase agreements with Community National Bank on several pieces of county equipment.
