County free fair starts Wednesday

By

Adults and kids alike have been preparing their projects all year long.

Livestock, crops, baking, canning, photography, art, crafts and so much more.

Now it’s time to show them off at the Kingfisher County Free Fair.

The fair runs from Wednesday, Aug. 20, through Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

Farmhand Olympics get the action started on Wednesday evening at the MACenter.

Teams are invited to come out and sign up for an evening of fun competition, Kingfisher County 4-H educator Heather Leitner said.

A garden tractor pull contest will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 22, at the Kingfisher County Roundup Club Rodeo Arena. The event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Garden Tractor Pull Association for ages 8 and up.
