County hires firm for 911 data maintenance, support
Kingfisher County commissioners approved an agreement with Surveying and Mapping (SAM), LLC, for ongoing Next Generation 911 data maintenance and support Monday.
The SAM Service, provided at a cost of $3,300 for the first year of maintenance includes providing a web portal that will accurately assign new addresses based on the county centerline established during a remediation project that.
It will accurately assign new addresses on a oneday turn-around, provide centerlines and attributes for roads and subdivisions address points for all newly assigned addresses and will be updated if needed to accommodate changes in service areas, submit Geographical Information Survey (GIS) data to the state data repository and keep data current with Oklahoma GIS standards.
A declaration of surplus including furniture and equipment submitted by the health department received approval. The list, included desks, typewriters, paper shredder, HP color laser, vision screener, centrifuge, and handicap ramp.
Commissioners approved indigent burial for Loren Roberts with Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey and permits for pipeline road crossings in all commissioner districts as follow:
• Howard Drilling Enterprises, LLC – four-inch lay flat freshwater line located three miles north and three miles east of Kingfi sher, District 1.
• Tetra Technologies, Inc. – four-inch poly line located one mile east and four miles south of Omega, District 3.
• K&J Construction, LLC – 12-inch and threeinch lay flat lines located three miles south of Hennessey and 12-inch lay flat line located three miles south and three miles west of Hennessey, District 2.
• BCE Mach III Midstream Holdings, LLC – two 10-inch poly salt water lines both located three miles south and two miles east of Hennessey, District 2.
Present in addition to County Commissioners Jeff Moss, District 1, Ray Alan Shimanek, District 2, and Heath Dobrovolny, District 3, were County Clerk Jeannie Boevers, minute clerk, County Engineer Nik Smith and 911 Emergency Calling System Administrator Ryan Deatherage.
