Minutes of the Kingfisher County Commissioners’ April 13 meeting, which were published in the April 22 Times & Free Press, contained incorrect information about a local confirmed case of COVID-19.

The minutes reported a positive case at Cimarron Nursing Center. The confirmed case was actually a resident of First Shamrock Nursing Center and was the only confirmed case at any local longterm care facility to date.

That patient has since recovered, as have the other five cases confirmed in the county as of the most recent data from the Oklahoma State Health Department.
