County OKs ODOT project agreements

Kingfisher County commissioners approved agreements with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Monday, gaining financial assistance in making repairs to roads and bridges resulting from 2019’s extensive flooding.

The projects include:

• Resolution No. 18 , an agreement for bridge and approaches on NS 274 Road 2.0 miles south of S.H. 33 and CN179 (estimated cost: $1,150,000);

• Resolution No. 19, an agreement for emergency roadway flooding damage repairs (E70 at N288.2); (estimated cost ($433,554.);

• Resolution 20, a project agreement for emergency flooding repair E 730 at N 288.8.2 Dover-Crescent Road (estimated cost: $373,554);

• Resolution No. 21, emergency flooding roadway repairs (Dover-Crescent Road)/ E730 at 291.2. (Estimated cost: $373,554.)

Commissioners also approved naming Tamera Hurd as requesting officer for the district attorney’s office, succeeding Molly Neuman, who is leaving the office, and bridge inspection contract with Circuit Engineering District 8 for seven county bridges in the amount of $1,850

Two public service drive installations received approval, one for Tyler Davis on EW 843.6 mile from NS 2940 North and one for Blue Ribbon Construction located 1,400 to 1,500 feet west of E830 Road and Euclid.

The following received pipeline road crossing permits:

• Overflow Energy Stack, eight-inch line starting in NE NW 3-15-7 and ending in NW NE 3-15-7.

• Oklahoma Gas and Electric, one permit starting in SW SW 13-19-9 and ending in SW SW 14-19-9; and one permit starting in SE SE 24-16-9 and ending in SE NE 24-16-9.

• Ovintiv, three-inch line starting in SE 35-16-7 and ending in SE 34-16-7.

Requesting and receiving officials for county departments for F.Y. 2021 were approved as follow with requesting officers listed first:
