County receives season’s 1st snow
A dusting of snow greeted Kingfisher County residents Sunday morning.
Ice-frozen doors on vehicles parked outside overnight indicated a splash of freezing rain before the snow.
The Kingfisher Mesonet site showed .03 inch of moisture from the season’s first snow.
Other area Mesonet readings included: Watonga .19 inch, El Reno .02 inch, Guthrie and Marshall, both .01 inch.
The heaviest rainfall measurement came from Fairview at .38 inch.
The snow primarily affected northwestern Oklahoma.
