County resident among centenarians celebrating January 2020 birthdays
A Kingfisher County resident is one of the oldest Oklahomans who will celebrate birthdays this month, according to Centenarians of Oklahoma.
Odessa Moffat is one of four Oklahomans who will turn 104 this month and one of 20 state centenarians with January birthdays who have been reported to the nonprofi t organization formed to recognize every state resident over the age of 100.
Other centenarians with January birthdays include the following:
Age 101 – Robert Shepard, Tulsa County; Billie Hanan, Cleveland County; Ruth Utsler, Cherokee County; Opal Winkler, Jackson County; Harold Glidewell and Kathlee Sodowsky, both of Oklahoma County, and Fern Hise, Noble County.
Age 102 – Jim Allenbaugh, Pawnee County; Melvin Johnson, Rogers CountyandDellaHalthorne of Logan County.
Age 103 – Joe Siebold and Alberta Cotton, both of Tulsa County; Edith Carney, Pittsburg County; Louis Parkhurst, Oklahoma County, and Bessie Salyer, Tulsa County.
Age 104 – Doris Holbrook, Stephens County; Floyd Holmess and Lucille Schumacher, both of Tulsa County.
Age 106 – Mozelle Richardson, Oklahoma County.
Centenarians of Oklahoma present award certificates and “Golden Okie” pins to everyone over the age of 100 at no cost.
