Couple charged with exploitation

A Dover man and woman face charges in Kingfisher County District Court for the alleged financial exploitation of the man’s elderly father.

Alvin Leroy Hilbern Jr., 46, is charged with exploitation of an elderly person, three counts of forgery and four counts of false imper sonation, all felony offenses.

Sara Schweitzer, 25, is charged with 26 misdemeanor counts of unauthorized use of a debit card.

Both Hilbern and Schweitzer lived in the home of the alleged victim, Alvin Leroy Hilbern Sr., and are charged with using his debit card and checking account with out his knowledge or permission.

Hilbern Jr. is additionally charged with forging his father’s signature on three checks.

Both Hilbern Jr. and Schweitzer have entered pleas of not guilty to all charges.
