Delta Dental of Oklahoma is ringing in the new school year by providing free, educational resources to Oklahoma classrooms. Anot-for-profit dental benefi ts provider, Delta Dental of Oklahoma has two oral health education programs, Captain Supertooth and MouthScience, available for Oklahoma educators and students through its Foundation.

“Championing positive oral hygiene habits is paramount to setting up kids for a lifetime of good dental health,” said Terrisa Singleton, director of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation. “Our Captain Supertooth and Mouth-Science programs empower Oklahoma youth to care for their teeth.”

Cavities are one of the most common chronic childhood infectious diseases in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
