Dover residents had the opportunity last weekend to take in the annual Christmas parade.

The event was held the morning of Saturday, Dec. 5, and was hosted by the Dover Community Club.

Representing the club in organizing the parade were Lacey Winn, Lori Fischer and Leah Mueggenborg.

Parade floats included Dover Baptist Church and Kids Club; Dover Christian Church and youth; Dover athletics; mini four-wheelers driven by Cooper Garlett, Conner Garlett (sons of Cody and Candace Garlett) and OC Fuston (son of Antwaun and Cortney Fuston); P&K Equipment tractor; Pioneer Telephone pickup-truck with large ornament; Dover Fire Department; Sharon O’Hern's 1953 Pontiac driven by Tom O’Hern with Johnnie Rains and D’Marian Sayles; and golf cart driven by Abby Wagner with her daughter Kadence Wagner.

The parade was followed by visits with Santa outside Dover Town Hall and chicken and noodles dinners-to-go were served.
