Drive-through testing set
The Oklahoma State Department of Health is setting up a two-hour drive-through COVID-19 testing site at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds this week, Kingfisher City-County Emergency Management Director Steve Loftis said.
Testing will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 8.
Testing will be conducted under the following stipulations:
•The individual tested must be at least 16 years old and accompanied by a parent if under age 18.
•The individual must be experiencing a cough, fever or shortness of breath.
•Only one person per car or family will be tested.
Other area testing sites reported by the county health department include:
•Canadian County Health Department (Yukon and El Reno) and Garfield County HD (Enid) – testing by appointment and physician referral.
•Grant County Health Department – by appointment.
•Logan County HD (Guthrie) – drive-through testing, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday.
•Major County HD (Fairview) – drive-through testing 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.
