Kingfisher received almost a half-inch of rain Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Local Weather Observer Steve Loftis recorded .45 inch at the National Weather Service station in Kingfisher and the Mesonet site on the Mueggenborg farm west of Kingfisher recorded .4 inch.

Other area Mesonet readings included: Guthrie .61 inch, Marshall .15 inch, El Reno .49 inch and Watonga .14 inch. McAlester recorded the heaviest rainfall Tuesday morning at 3.32 inches.
