Pressley Page is now a two-time state champion while Paxton Terrell has won for the fi rst time. The two Kingfi sher students won their respective divisions last Saturday at the Elks Hoop Shoot state competition in Dale. Pressley won the 10-11 year-old girls competition by making 21 of 25 free throws. Paxton was the champ among 8-9 yearold boys after making 22 of 25. Both move on to the Southwest Region 11 Hoop Shoot Semifi nal competition set for March 15 in Dallas. The two will take on state champs from Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana for the right to advance to nationals later this year in Chicago. Paxton is a third grader at Kingfi sher Heritage Elementary and is the son of Jeff and Baylee Terrell. He is pictured on the right with Ron Hancock, president of the Oklahoma Elks Association.
