Encana donates time, money to KPS pantry
Kingfisher Public Schools recently held a food drive to help stock the shelves of its food pantry. Employees of the Okarche branch of Encana recently helped out by picking up all of the food drive boxes from each school, taking them to the pantry, unpacking them and stocking the shelves. Encana also made a monetary donation to the food pantry, which was used to help purchase toiletries to go along with the food stock. After the work, Encana employees were fed lunch at the school. “We appreciate their generous donation and the fabulous help,” said Paula Leffingwell, KHS counselor who oversees the food pantry.
