Finley, Evans are Junior Lions

Kingfisher High School seniors Josh Finley and Harper Evans are the September 2025 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.

Finley is the son of Kurt and Morgan Finley.

He’s active in FFA and serves as treasurer and is on the meat judging team, animal science quiz bowl team and exhibits swine.

FINLEY is also involved in the engineering program at Chisholm Trail Technology Center, serves as vice president of Technology Student Association (TSA) and has earned the FFA Greenhand Award and Star Greenhand Award.

He’s a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society, is listed on the principal’s honor roll and was a Oklahoma Boys State delegate.

Finley is also involved in Sts. Peter and Paul Church and serves on the Center of Family Love Teen Board.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and be a member of the meat judging team and major in mechanical engineering.

EVANS is the daughter is Alicia and Justin Evans.

She’s active in cross country, soccer, track and was a two-time academic state champion in cross country.

Evans is involved in STUCO and serves as president, is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society and has received the 4-point Award.

She’s also active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, on the Center of Family Love Teen Board and a member of Kingfisher First Baptist Church student leadership team.

Evans plans to attend college and major in biology, with goals of pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine.
