Frey, Buseman exchange wedding vows in April ceremony at Federated Church

Jaryn Frey of Kingfisher and Zach Buseman of Okarche exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Federated Church in Kingfisher.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Jamae Frey of Kingfisher and the granddaughter of Clarence and Anita Frey of Mulhall and the late John D. and Dorma Hobbs.

The groom is the son of Kristen Buseman of Byron Minn., and Marty Buseman of West Des Moines, Iowa. He is the grandson of Harlan and Judy Buseman of Meservey, Iowa; Rusty Bohman of Alexander, Iowa; and John and Alexis Moore of Mason City, Iowa.

Pastors Luke Aadalen and Adam Click officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and carried a bouquet created by Designs by Dennis.

Jordan Storey of Idabel served as the maid of honor and Kaylee Hass of Clinton as the bridesmaid.

Bridal attendants were Alison and Brylie Cook, daughters of Chance and Korri Cook of Orlando and Travis and Leslie Hanna of Mulhall.

Flower girls were Kleeo Cook, daughter of Chance and Korri Cook of Orlando, and Haylee Cook, daughter of Dustin and Hannah Cook of Perry.

Heath Hutcheson of Des Moines, Iowa, served as the best man and Cal Smith of Montezuma, Iowa, the groomsman.

Ring bearers were Bennett Parsons, son of Chelsey Parsons of Piedmont, and Emmett Smith, son of Cal and Olivia Smith of Montezuma, Iowa.

A reception at The Cedar Gate followed the ceremony and was catered by Iron Wheel BBQ, The Shed Grill & Bar and Buffalo Rose Bakery.

The bride is a 2016 graduate of Kingfisher High School and 2020 graduate of Oklahoma State University. She owns Rooted Financials & Business Solutions and also works at the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce.

The groom graduated from Garner-Hayfi eld-Ventura High School in Garner, Iowa, in 2013, and then earned a degree from Waldorf University in 2016.

He currently works for RCX Sports and the City of Kingfisher.
