Frontline starts GriefShare program this week
Frontline Ministries will begin a 13-week session of GriefShare this week.
The sessions will be held each Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The first one will be Dec. 3 at the church, 124 E. Erwin.
“They’re open to everyone,” said Jeanie Casto, children’s pastor at Frontline who will be program director for GriefShare.
“The program specifically deals with someone who is dealing with the loss of a loved one.”
GriefShare sessions have three elements: A video seminar, support group discussions with focus and then personal study and reflection.
“It’s a very long running and successful program that helps people who are grieving,” Casto said. “And we’ll have all the latest materials.”
