Will Walter of Kingfisher and Amber Goerke of Watonga exchanged vows at a 6:30 p.m. ceremony, Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City.

Parents of the bride are Mary Frances Anglin of Edmond and Kyle Goerke of Watonga.

Parents of the bridegroom are Liz and Brian Walter of Kingfisher.

The bride was escorted by both her parents in the ceremony, which was officiated by Josh Attaway.

Lauren Feddersen of Denver, Colo., served as maid of honor, while bridesmaids included Kimri Goerke and Morgan Goerke, the bride’s sisters, both of Edmond, Jordan Daugherty of Oklahoma City, Madison Maguire and Katelyn Rohling, both of Tulsa and Taylor Coker of Amarillo.

The bridegroom’s brother, Sam Walter of Kingfisher, served as best man, while groomsmen included their brother Robert Walter of Fairbanks, Alaska; the bride’s brothers, Austin Goerke of Dallas and Kale Goerke and Zak Goerke, both of Tulsa; Colton Cheap of Edmond; Connor Daugherty of Oklahoma City; Alex Maguire and Connor Mc-Murrain, both of Tulsa, and Ashton Armstrong of Enid.

Tucker Wagner of Tulsa served as ring bearer.

Special wedding guests were the bridegroom’s grandparents, Byron and Nancy Marshall of Albertville, Ala.

A reception followed the ceremony, also at the Oklahoma History Center.

Members of the bride’s house party included Kaitlyn Haelzle and Kensi Law son, both of Tulsa, and Jordan Kerber of Dallas.

Prior to the ceremony, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Packard’s restaurant in Oklahoma City.

The Walters have established a home in Oklahoma City.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Watonga High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in mental health counseling from Oklahoma State University.

She currently works as a therapist at Edmond Family Counseling.

The bridegroom is a 2012 graduate of Kingfisher High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University.

He serves as a pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and holds the rank of second lieutenant.
