A GRAND DAY IN KINGFISHER
KINGFISHER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE hosted grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies for several new businesses last month as part of the “It’s a Grand Day in Kingfisher” promotion throughout town. Two of those businesses were the State Farm insurance agency owned by Josh Fields and Blue Country Firearms owned by Joe and Mandy Cox. The State Farm office is located at 102 W. Starlite Drive. Fields, center, is pictured with his wife Ashleigh as well as members of the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors. Fields is a former Oklahoma State University quarterback and professional baseball player who recently took over the State Farm business locally. Pictured below are members of the Cox family along with members of the chamber’s board of directors. Blue Country Firearms is located at 221 N. Main St. The Coxes, who also have other private partners, have made their home in Kingfisher and offer a range of services in addition to their selection of firearms. You can visit their website at www.bluecountryfirearms.com for a complete list of their classes. “The Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce is delighted to have so much to celebrate in the business industry in Kingfisher,” said Chamber Manager Shauna Rupp, who organized the day of events. “It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to promote new businesses.” For inquiries on chamber membership and ribbon cutting events call the chamber office at 405.375.4445.
