The Altrua Club met Nov. 20, 2019, at the Chisholm Trail Museum.

Members attending were Keri Bivins, Martha Burditt, Carolyn Flood, Dana Golbek, Jneanne Kadavy, Terri Peck, Julie Storm, Cheryl Wheelbarger, Dorothy Whitaker and Jowanna Sisk.

Jason Harris, museum director, spoke to the club about upcoming events and the plans for the extensive renovation of the museum.

He reported that the museum received a grant to digitize the photo collection and an intern would be coming in to do the work. He also explained what the criteria is for items the museum will accept and what items they will keep.

Golbek and Peck were chosen to serve on the museum board, replacing Keri Bivins and Skeeter Glazier.

The program was given by Bivins, who told the group about the history of the pin cushion.

Refreshments were served by hostess Flood.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, with Golbek serving as hostess and Whitaker in charge of the program.
