Healthy Brain, Healthy Mind classes start soon
The Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative’s (OHAI) Center of Healthy Aging is planning a “Healthy Brain, Healthy Mind” virtual program.
Classes will be each Monday from Aug. 31 through Sept. 28 (with the exception of Labor Day, Sept. 7).
They will begin at noon and be held via Zoom online videoconferencing.
The Healthy Brain, Healthy Mind Program was developed to help individuals understand the many ways they can maintain a healthy brain.
The workshop consists of an introductory session and four enriching sessions. Each session is one hour.
Those who take the workshop will be taught more than a dozen ways to improve their physical and mental health.
Instructors will be provided by OHAI, a program of the Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
OHAI serves all individuals who are eligible for its programs without regard to race, national origin, ancestry, color, religion, sex, age, or disability.
Registration is required. Additional information and class material will be provided upon registration.
