Hennessey Child Study Club makes donations
Members of the Hennessey Child Study Club voted to make donations to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and the Reserve Angels Christmas Project for needy families during their Nov. 7 meeting at the First Christian Church.
They also voted make another donation to medical research in memory of Dale Cameron.
President Rhonda Peach opened the meeting and led members in “The Lord’s Prayer.”
Wanda Choate called the roll with 11 members present and Patsy Jackson read the devotional, “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait.”
Peach reported that the club’s Halloween party Oct. 17 was a success. Children were dressed in costumes, played games and were treated to hot dogs and candy.
Meeting hostesses Kathy Painter and Kate Ludwig provided a meal and Darlene Caffey won the door prize.
The club’s next meeting is Nov. 21.
