The Hennessey Child Study Club voted to donate to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in memory of past members Cathy Schwarz and Margie Thompson during its Nov. 6 meeting.

Members also made nominations for the Oklahoma Association of Mothers’ Clubs. Shelia Craun and Theresa Fletcher will serve on the state board.

Megan Choate is the newest member of the club.

Jennifer Hau gave a lesson on diabetes and Patsy Jackson and Wanda Choate served refreshments.

Charlene Choate hosted a Halloween party Oct. 22 for members and their children and grandchildren.

The club also met Oct. 1 at the First Christian Church with 12 members present. The group voted to donate Halloween candy to the Hennessey Care Center and the public library

Pattie Cameron and Marilyn Buckner served the meal.
