Hennessey senior Alejandro Ortega, left, was recently congratulated by Staff Sgt. Austin Vogt for being the newest U.S. Army National Guard 11 Bang-Bang recruit in Oklahoma. He received a $20,000 bonus, a tuition waiver to any state-funded school, and more than $900 a month for attending college full-time. Ortega is the son of Israel and Barbara Ortega and is also eligible for the Oklahoma Promise college scholarship. Alejandro also recently completed the 18-week Leadership Hennessey program conducted by Hennessey United and will graduate from HHS in May. [Photo provided]
